Sterile forceps are designed for single or limited use. Useful for grasping and manipulating small components, including vials, these forceps can be used to eliminate the sterile prep required when using stainless steel forceps in a sterile area. They also are used as emergency replacements in the event that all stainless steel forceps in a sterile area become contaminated. STERIS Barrier Product Solutions sterile forceps are supplied in Tyvek®/Mylar® pouches. The pouches are sterilized in lots using ethylene oxide gas sterilization. Each pouch includes a lot number for traceability.
